Change Again

I like to change my blog backround. I am not that great at updating my blog postings, but I like to change my blog backround. I will tell you though that Christmas pictures will hopefully be posted by the end of this week. :)

It Is Christmas Time!!

It is that time of year again, and I decided to do my Christmas letter on our blog, yes I know not everyone will get to see it but well I just don't want to mail out a bunch of letters.
So this year has been an eventful one! For starters we moved to Spokane from Rexburg in Feb. and a month later added a new member to our family! Max Reneer Davis was born on March 27th at 4:26 a.m. he weighed 7lbs 12 oz and was 19 in. long. He is now 8 months old has two teeth, crawls like crazy, says "Mama and Dada" LOVES his big sister to pieces and is my chunky monkey of a little boy he now weighs 20lbs 6oz and is 26 in. long. I love his chubby cheeks.
Jaylee turned 5 in July and started Kindergarten this fall. She thinks it is the GREATEST thing in the world(and so do I!) She is starting to read, she can write her name, knows the sounds of her letter and on and on and on. She is doing a fantastic job and we are sooooo proud of her!
Blair has been searching for a job the past year, but it is TOUGH STUFF!!! The economy has not been our best friend. He is currently working with his dad in the Dental office which is sooo very very very kind of his family. And we are very fortunate.
I myself am a stay at home mom and enjoy it very much, and at other times I am pulling out my hair. I love my little family so much! I wait for the day when Max will sleep through the night and when Jaylee will not talk back. At least on of those will come true...right? :)

Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!

Alrighty Thanksgiving has come and gone and it was YUMMMY!!!!! Max evidently is a little unsure of his Aunt Kathryn, or simply thinks she is CRAZY hence thee wary eyeballs in the pictures.
Then Daddy told him he couldn't have any turkey and he was quite upset about that!
Anna Maria and Jaylee ruled the roost while at Bumpski and Papa's. These three little girls are a dangerous combination.
And last but not least, Pops had to supervise the taking out of the turkey, because Jenn being all mighty and buff could have dropped it!

It was a fun Thanksgiving, family, food and lots of chaos, always a fun combination! And plenty of leftovers to go around. :) MMMMMMMMM so yummy and just think Christmas is right around the corner :) :) :):)

My craftiness

I went and made some fun things for the house! This is the extent of my crafty talent. I copy other ideas well :) It was fun though. Good food, good conversation, and no kids for an hour and a half!!

P.S.

I know my wonderful husband is going to go "what am I? Chopped Liver?" So sweetie...I LOVE YOU TOO!!!! You are such a WONDERFUL daddy and husband! THANK YOU for all that you do!

Oh how I love my kids!

Who knew that moving could be so stressfull...wait what am I talking about, OF COURSE it is stressful!!! I think it is funny how Blair and I have been living out of 2 bedrooms the past 9 months and we still have managed to pile a TON of junk in them! Anyways I think I am at the finish of it all, and we will be moved out by Thursday evening! Jaylee is very excited, she is bummed that she doesn't get to ride the bus home after school anymore because we will only be 2 blks away from her school! It is so fun to see her little head peeking out the window to see if I am there to pick her up. She can barely see out the window. I LOVE IT! I better take a picture before she quits riding. Max is teething, getting two bottom teeth. Jaylee went through teething without us even noticing. Max on the other hand makes sure we notice! And Heaven forbid I put that little boy down and walk away. It is the SADDEST cry, and now he can slowly try to follow me with his shaky crawl. Do you ever have pictures that you just love? These two are definitely some of my favorites! I miss the beaches in California, thanks Ricky and Tyler for letting me come and fall in love with the ocean and beaches! I will be back someday!
*Sigh* I should really go to bed because my little Max will be up in a couple hours to tell me he is hungry, when will that little boy start sleeping through the night!?!?! But alas I just can't seem to sleep, what is up with that?

Yes I know Max has two different costumes. Originally he was going to be Jaylee's Toto, but we couldn't find a puppy costume. So we put him in Jaylee's old Piglet outfit. Then we were able to borrow a puppy costume, so wa-la we had a Toto to follow Jaylee around in a stroller.
Halloween was AWESOME!!! Jaylee is a die hard at trick or treating. She ran to every house, and was out for about 2 hrs! GEESH!!! It was a fun night! She as a little unsure at some houses because of their decorations, but she managed to persevere and get the candy.

So we are moving out this coming week! YAY we will move on Thursday I am so excited! Our own place once again. I have missed having our own place. Max is starting to crawl, he does quite well gets around and in to everything he could possible want. Funny kid. Jaylee is such a smart little cookie, she came up to me the other day with a piece of paper handed it to me and on it was written "CAT" I couldn't believe it! She writes her name so nice and recognizes letters and pronounces their sounds and then says the letter. My little baby is 5 and smart! It's a miracle she made it this far :)

I seem to always only have pictures of Max, I really need to put Jaylee on there too, she does exist.
My sister says I don't update my blog enough. Apparently I need to update it daily like her ;) So I am now going to update you all on life. We are moving out next weekend, needless to say I am very excited. Blair not so much, Jaylee is just excited that she gets to stay in the same school, and Max really doesn't care either way as long as there is food. No Blair has not found a job he is still working at his dad's dental office. It was just time to move out that is all. Mechanical Engineering jobs are hard to come by.
Jaylee is LOVING school she is such a fast learner. The other day she came in with a piece of paper and had written "cat" on it. I didn't even know she could do that! Max is starting to crawl, and almost hitting 20lbs. Such a little lug! Well that is all I can think of for an update, Jenn I will try harder to update just for you.

I am so proud of myself!

So I have managed to make my blog have three columns. Make a cute banner, and put my sisters blog links onto my blog! I know this sounds minimal but for me this is HUGE, I am not a computer savvy person! So needless to say WOO-HOO!

Jaylee's first day of Kindergarten!!

Well she is now in school for the long haul! I must say I was not weepy or sad at all. Is that bad of me? Pretty much just shoved her in the door and said "have fun!" Wrong? Maybe, but she needs this interaction, and I need the break from constant arguing with my five yr. old!
Needless to say she LOVES it!!!

What are the chances?

So I just randomly clicked a pic of Max and Jaylee because I wanted to have a picture of them to develop so I put Max next to Jaylee and said SMILE and look at what a CUTE pic I got. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So our Jaylee starts school tomorrow! Can you believe she is 5 already? At first when she was 3 or so I didn't want her to go to school. Now I am sooooooooooo ready, is that wrong of me? And the fact that I am a little bummed that it is only half day, still is that wrong of me? She really really needs the interaction and stimulation for her brain!

Max is growing like a weed. He is now 17 lbs and 26 in. And 5 months. I love my chunky monkey!!!

And the result of Blairs castle building, and also he lost his wedding ring and was spending a lot of time looking into the ocean leaving his back up to the sun, he got pretty fried, and felt horrible about losing his wedding ring. The ocean did not want to return it, and I have a feeling is is just on of the thousands of wedding rings claimed by the ocean.
